How We Select Our Students
Â
-
Partner schools nominate students.
-
Teachers score each on financial need, academic performance, risk of dropping out, character and commitment, and community recommendation.
-
A local government leader or community elder confirms each family's circumstances.
-
We visit short-listed families at home, with consent.
-
Awards follow national results and Senior School placements each December.
-
Students may live with parents, grandparents, relatives or guardians.
-
Good standing: to be considered for Post-Secondary Support, a Future must complete Grade 12, sit the national examinations, and meet the school's attendance and conduct expectations.
-
Dignity-First: we never use images of children in need, and a student's story is shared only with the consent of the student and their parent or guardian.
